Care

Properties:
- The product finish may vary slightly due to handmade or natural materials
- Expansion and contraction are properties of the material and are unavoidable. Our designs are made taking into consideration and leaving room for these natural changes. During seasonal changes you might observe minor material movement in your new products as they settle in.

Solid wood:
- Wood may breathe slightly with seasonal changes, this is completely normal and minor movements are a property of the material, as they settle in.
- Every piece is unique - grain variations and aging are a part of its charm.
- Dust regularly using a soft, dry microfiber and lint free cloth
- Always use coasters or mats - do not place hot or wet objects directly on wood
- Avoid chemicals, oils or cleaners on the surface
- Keep away from direct sunlight and high humidity
- Although built to withstand regular usage, avoid dragging or pushing furniture. Always lift from the base.

Things to Avoid:
- Don’t store furniture in its packaging long-term
- Never move the furniture by pushing it on the floor or the carpet, instead by gently lifting it from the bottom of the frame.
- Do not lift from the legs of furniture in tables and heavy/tall pieces.
- Never place the furniture in direct sunlight or too close to a heater
( fireplace, radiator, etc.)

Delivery & Shipping

We deliver across India via trusted partners and aim to provide a smooth, timely experience. Below details applicable to all domestic orders.

Before placing order:

  • Verify product dimensions and any obstacles (gates, narrow lanes, no elevator, etc.) before ordering
  • Inform ESVEE team in advance of any such obstacles to ensure that the products are delivered safely.
  • For orders without prior information of obstacles, ESVEE will not be responsible if the product doesn't fit through entryways.

Delivery & Order acceptance :

  • We deliver most items Monday to Saturday.
  • Timelines are shared at the time of order and products are dispatched within 4–12 weeks
  • ESVEE will not be responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, severe weather, acts of God, strikes, and governmental actions.
  • The delivery person will deliver the goods to your front door/building premises or wherever it is physically possible to deliver the goods.
  • For higher floors, without a lift or proper access, extra handling charges are applicable.

  • The customer should open the goods themselves or with the help of a local carpenter or a professional and inspect the same.
  • Any defect or damage must be reported to the delivery person and to the customer care team at ESVEE via email immediately by the customer within 5 days of delivery.
  • ESVEE reserves the right to cancel and order and refuse delivery to insecure addresses.
  • Delivery rescheduling due to unavailability or un-informed obstacles will incur extra delivery charges

Please note that the Delivery Personnel are employed by 3rd party logistics partners and are not obliged or authorized to open the furniture or packages. Their duty is to deliver the goods to the customer. You are requested to cooperate with them and not force them to open the crates, packages, etc.
